I am a chiropractor by education with a BS in Human Biology. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 31. As a doctor, I thought I understood pain, but I was wrong. After years of no help with Western Medicine, I went back to my roots and began studying wellness, complimentary, and alternative techniques. I recently wrote a book called, "One Breath at a Time", A Doctor's Journey Through Chronic Pain. Chronic pain is vast and complicated, I try to simplify it for you and give you reasonable and doable tools to help yourself in combination with your current care. It is hard to understand how to deal with chronic pain if you don't know exactly what is happening in your body. My goal is to educate you on that and many other things in our lives that directly affect and contribute to our pain. I spend a significant amount of time teaching you about the brain body connection and how we are energetic beings and how the flow of our energy is important and the blockage of it can cause or excentuate disease. I then give you dozens of wellness and complimentary and alternative medicine techniques to try on yourself. Not everything will work for everyone and you have to put the effort in to find what works for you, but if you do, you will find a combination of techniques that will give you some self control and a different perspective over your pain. I do not promise miracles, I am honest and straight forward, and I am here to help. You can purchase my book here and/or you can schedule time with me to do personal chronic pain life coaching. My Blog is here to provide you with a support group and continuing education about the newest information available about specific diseases and chronic pain in general. Best Regards My Brother's and Sister's in Pain, Dr. Leslie
